1. The first thing you should do is search. You can do this by simply posting a wanted sign at the front of your house. Just make sure you leave your contact information if ever a job applicant would want like to apply. You can also go online and search for websites where can you do a job post looking for a housemaid. You can ask typical questions that will give you an idea of the type of personality and work ethics the applicant has. You can ask questions like the following:

· Do you live with your family? Where do you leave?

Try to keep the conversation flowing and make sure that the applicant does all the answering while you do the questioning. It would also be good if you have your kids along with you while doing the interview.

3. Before hiring the applicant you wish to hire, the first thing you need to do is background checking. The following questions might help you in this job:

· Does the applicant have a police record?

· Does the applicant have history of child abuse?

· Does the applicant have any drug history? Is he or she negative in the drug test?

Make sure that the applicant you are about to hire does have all the legalities required and check the documents he or she presents, whether or not they are authentic files.

Indeed a clean place to live is a healthy way of living. But when getting a regular housekeeper make sure that you consider your property and family's safety first, in your priority list.
