Housekeeping Guide: Tips on Hiring a House Maid

!±8± Housekeeping Guide: Tips on Hiring a House Maid

Does it make you feel sick when you're all tired from work and see that your entire place is all messed up? Do you always dreamed of lying down on a clean bed sheet every night you sleep? If you're busy and does not have the leverage to do so, maybe hiring a regular housekeeper, also known as house maids, is what you might need. But you just don't go to an agency and tell them to get you a maid. There are things that you need to consider when looking for a housemaid, especially when you got valuable things in your place.

So what are things that you should consider when hiring a housemaid?

1. The first thing you should do is search. You can do this by simply posting a wanted sign at the front of your house. Just make sure you leave your contact information if ever a job applicant would want like to apply. You can also go online and search for websites where can you do a job post looking for a housemaid. If the first two suggestions do not work, then you can ask referrals from your family and friends who might know someone they can refer you with.

2. When dealing with applicants, you need to prepare a set of questions to ask them about. If you have kids with you at home, you might want to hire a house made and at the same time a nanny for your kids.

You can ask typical questions that will give you an idea of the type of personality and work ethics the applicant has. You can ask questions like the following:

· How do you take care of kids? Do you like kids?

· How long have you been working as a housekeeper? Can you do nanny jobs for me too?

· What is your most available time to work for me?

· Do you live with your family? Where do you leave?

Try to keep the conversation flowing and make sure that the applicant does all the answering while you do the questioning. It would also be good if you have your kids along with you while doing the interview.

3. Before hiring the applicant you wish to hire, the first thing you need to do is background checking. The following questions might help you in this job:

· Does the applicant have a police record?

· Does the applicant have history of child abuse?

· Does the applicant have any drug history? Is he or she negative in the drug test?

Make sure that the applicant you are about to hire does have all the legalities required and check the documents he or she presents, whether or not they are authentic files.

Indeed a clean place to live is a healthy way of living. But when getting a regular housekeeper make sure that you consider your property and family's safety first, in your priority list.

What To Look For In An Air Compressor

!±8± What To Look For In An Air Compressor

An air compressor is a handy tool to have at home. You may think that you do not need one, but they could save you money by not having to hire a handy man to do a job that you could have done yourself. Whether you are looking to buy one for yourself or perhaps as a present for someone else, this article will outline the essential points to choosing the right one. You cannot just decide to buy one on price alone, you need to keep a few important factors in mind before you make your decision.

The features that you need to keep in mind are the noise level when in full operation, how many amps it uses, the output of air, and finally whether it requires lubrication. Let's look at each of these options.

You want to buy a model that draws as little amps as possible as this will help the motor to last longer. Low amps means that there is less chance of the motor failing when there is a drop in the voltage supply.

The output of air is an important factor that you need to consider. The higher the compression, the higher the performance of the device. Look for a model that uses a cast iron cylinder as this will provide the higher compression and performance you will be looking for. This ensures that the device will be able to be used at home and in tougher work situations.

Some manufacturers are offering an oil free compressor that is designed for the homeowner to use on DIY projects. Although this sounds convenient, it is not a good idea to buy one that requires not lubrication. With lubrication the pump will run much cooler and the wear and tear on the parts will be minimized. The changing of the oil, which will need to be done periodically, is actually very easy to do thanks to an oil drain mechanism. They do not take much oil and it is not expensive to do an oil change.

Make sure you choose a compressor than runs quietly. You will want to buy a device that allows you to easily have a conversation with someone else while in use. You will also want the device to be as quite as possible when it is used indoors. Try to find an air compressor that operates under 100 decibel and closer to the 80 decibel mark.
